These terms cover your use of wav-drop.com and the things we make. By using the site or our products, you agree to them.
Who we are
"WavDrop," "we," and "us" refer to the independent studio operating wav-drop.com and its products. "You" means the person using the site or a product.
Using the site
You may browse wav-drop.com and contact us for lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt, attack, scrape abusively, or gain unauthorized access to the site or our systems, and don't use it to break the law or infringe others' rights.
Our products
Each WavDrop product — WavDrop DJ, Aura Drive, Skallywag, CoLaB, Vibestep, GH Mapper, and others — may have its own license, terms, or store agreement that applies to that product specifically. Where a product's own terms differ from these, that product's terms govern your use of it.
- Paid products (e.g. Skallywag) are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad; purchases, refunds, and payment are handled under that platform's terms.
- CoLaB is open source and provided under its repository's license.
- Aura Drive is crowdfunding; backing it is governed by the crowdfunding platform's terms, and timelines for an in-development product are estimates, not guarantees.
Intellectual property
The WavDrop name, logo, site design, copy, and product branding belong to us. You may not copy, resell, or pass them off as your own. Open-source components remain under their respective licenses.
No warranty
The site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Software and in-development products may contain bugs and can change or be discontinued.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WavDrop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the site or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the product in question.
Automated replies
Emails to hello@ or support@wav-drop.com may receive an automated, AI-generated reply. These replies are for convenience and may be inaccurate or incomplete; nothing in an automated reply is a binding offer, price, or promise. For anything that matters, a human will confirm.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
