WavDrop is an independent studio. We keep this simple: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and we tell you plainly what happens to it.
This website
The wav-drop.com landing site is a static page. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies, and it has no sign-up or sign-in. We don't build a profile on you for visiting.
When you email us
If you write to hello@ or support@wav-drop.com, your message — including your email address and whatever you choose to write — is handled two ways:
- An automated assistant reads your message and may send you an immediate reply. It only answers questions about WavDrop and our products.
- A copy is delivered to a member of our team so a human can follow up when needed.
Our products
Our apps and devices are separate from this website and may collect information needed to do their job — for example, an account email or content you upload. Each product has its own privacy terms:
- WavDrop DJ — see the WavDrop DJ Privacy Policy.
- Aura Drive, Vibestep, CoLaB, Skallywag, GH Mapper — collect only what's needed to operate, on your own device or network; details are provided with each product. CoLaB is open source.
Purchases (e.g. Skallywag on Gumroad) and crowdfunding (Aura Drive) are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies; we don't receive your payment details.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate — such as our email and hosting providers (Cloudflare, Netlify) — and only as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can email us to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. We'll honor reasonable requests promptly.
Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
